POLICIES & RULES

Tuition
Dance tuition is due and payable in advance on or before the first day of each month Aug-June. Tuition is based on a yearly fee divided into ten payments for the dance year, not on the number of classes per month. Tuition is non refundable. A $10.00 late fee will be charged for all payments not received by the 7th of each month. The late fee will be applied to all moneys owing, including Costume deposits, Costume balances, and tuition. Late fees are applicable to all students enrolled. If the dance student attends any lesson during a particular month, then the entire monthly tuition is due. A 10% discount is given for tuition that is paid in full for the year. In preparation for our annual recital we will have at least two extra rehearsals in March & April, therefore March & April tuition will be priced at 1 1/2 months.

Annual Recital
Our annual recital is tentatively scheduled for June 12 and 13, 2004. All students attending class with The Turning Pointe of Dance have the option to participate in the recital. The day your child performs will be announced at a later date. All students receive a trophy and certificate at the reception, immediately following the recital. Dance costumes are required to participate in recital and ordered by the studio.

Costumes
A nonrefundable costume deposit of $60.00 for the annual recital is due on October 1st. Students who dance for 1 1/2 hours pay a $90.00 deposit and Competition students pay $100.00. The balance of costume charges are due between November 1st and January 15. The balance amount depends on costume selection, accessories, etc. If the costume deposit is not received by October 1st, the costume cannot be ordered. If the balance is not paid by January 15th our costume companies will not ship the costume. Students cannot participate in the recital without a costume.
